I am a keen tech-enthusiastic, who loves to build solutions for software and hardware industries. I have designed and developed software architecture for a variety of software and hardware technologies including Augmented Reality, Internet of Things and Indoor Positioning. I am a skilled full stack software developer with fluency in more than 10 programming languages. I also have a background in hardware engineering and have expertise in Embedded Systems and Wireless Sensor Networks.

Currently, I am a software developer at Amazon in AWS IoT team. prior to that, I did Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Texas at Dallas. My current areas of research are security and privacy issues in IoT and User Customizable IoT architecture.

I completed my Master's degree in Embedded Systems from BITS Goa, India. My area of research for my master's thesis was cross-layer wireless sensor network protocol. I was part of a research group at Wireless Sensor Lab in Birla Institute of Technology & Science, Goa, where I led a team of 5 undergraduate students in designing a wireless network for gas pipelines. My contribution helped the project to raise a fund of 9 million Indian Rupees (INR). I also provided solutions to local Embedded System based industries as a consultant while pursuing my undergraduate and master's degree.
